A Life of Game

Westlee, a young man finally getting out of his mother's shadow, tries to go get groceries but his digital pet Shadey tries to turn everything into a game. Westlee's mother was a Christian warrior who conscripted him into her crusade against ¨MAZES & MONSTERS¨, a TTRPG which she viewed as a corrosive, satanic influence but under his therapist's guidance, and with a little help from Shadey, Westlee learns to accept both gaming and the wider world at large as he completes the mundane task of getting his groceries.
